Description
One of Confiz's largest retail clients is seeking an experienced React UI Developer to design, build, and maintain high-quality, scalable user interfaces for modern web applications.
The ideal candidate has deep expertise in React, strong UI/UX sensibilities, and a proven track record of delivering performant, maintainable front-end solutions in complex environments.
Working experience with Java services and infrastructure (terraform, AWS cloud, kubernetes) is a plus.
This is a hybrid role, based in Seattle, WA.
Onsite presence of 4 days per week is expected Monday through Thursday, Remote Fridays
Responsibilities
Design and develop responsive, high-performance web applications using React.jsBuild reusable components and front-end libraries for scalability and consistencyTranslate UI/UX designs and business requirements into clean, efficient codeOptimize applications for maximum speed, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibilityCollaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineersLead front-end architecture decisions and contribute to technical design discussionsMentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain high engineering standardsEnsure best practices in state management, component design, and performance optimizationWrite unit and integration tests to ensure UI reliability and qualityParticipate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and estimation
Qualifications
Bachelors or equivalent experience2-3 years of experience in front-end or UI development2+ years of hands-on experience with React.jsStrong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3Experience with modern React features: Hooks, Context, functional componentsHands-on experience with state management libraries such as ReduxStrong experience with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end with backend servicesSolid understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibilityStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with TypeScriptFamiliarity with Next.js or other React frameworksExperience with design systems and component libraries (Material UI, Ant Design, Chakra, etc.)Knowledge of performance monitoring and optimization toolsExperience working in large-scale applicationsAndroid Native is plusWorking experience on Java services is a plus.Experience on AWS cloud, kubernetes, provisioning infrastructure using Terraform is desirable, but not a must.
