About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Engineer to contribute to building state of the art mission control systems, using data and video feeds for weapon commands and engagement rules. Responsibilities Coding! Developing the backend of our Software CoreTesting - both software and mission functionality and reliabilityHelp improve our C++ development environmentBuilding and implementing APIs and SDKIntegration and expansion of existing software.Expanding current architecture.Implementation of STANAG requirementsStoring data / Data ManagementPerform testing for mission simulationStay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending and implementing innovations to improve our products and processesDive deep into the details to identify, understand, and solve difficult technical problems.Constantly be challenging requirements to determine what adds value and what is not. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.Advanced in C++ development, Rust will be considered a bit plusKnowledge of autopilot, flight control systems or anything similar is a great bonusRelevant industry experience in Automotive, sensors, aerospace, or where real world devices are connected to your softwareExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment with a strong drive for innovation and continuous improvement.Ability to travel as needed.
