We’re looking for a Senior Backend/Platform Engineer (5+ years) to own the platform behind an AI product processing tens of millions of pages. You’ll be deep in the work that matters: ⚙️ Scale distributed systems, orchestration & scheduling🚀 Make customer workloads faster and more reliable🤖 Optimise model serving and production ML infrastructure💰 Drive meaningful cloud and compute cost efficiencies🛠️ Own databases, deployments and core platform infrastructure🔥 Take real end-to-end ownership, including on-call What we’re looking for 5+ years in platform/backend engineeringStrong distributed systems experienceFull-stack engineering ability — not pure DevOps/infraExperience scaling infrastructure at a VC-backed startup or similarly high-velocity companyStrong Python (or deep Go/Rust expertise + willingness to switch)Cloud infrastructure + model serving optimisation experience Why now?
