We’re seeking a dedicated Junior Developer with 4-6 years of experience to support and enhance IBM FileNet and Content Navigator applications. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing, configuring, and maintaining IBM FileNet-based solutions, ensuring seamless content management operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, implement enhancements, and support production environments, all while honing your expertise in Java/J2EE, Unix, and enterprise content management tools. Key Responsibilities Understand business requirements, incidents, service requests, and change requests related to IBM FileNet and enterprise content management applications.Develop, enhance, configure, and support IBM FileNet application components such as repositories, workflows, document classes, metadata, and security configurations according to technical specifications.Configure and support IBM Content Navigator features including desktops, repositories, search functionality, viewer behavior, teamspaces, menus, and plug-ins.Create and maintain Java/J2EE components, utilities, APIs, integrations, batch jobs, and support scripts associated with FileNet and Content Navigator applications.Perform Unix/Linux support activities including log analysis, executing shell scripts, checking file permissions, and validating deployments.Troubleshoot issues related to document uploads/downloads, search functions, repository access, workflows, application errors, and integration points.Write and execute unit tests, support SIT/UAT testing phases, and verify deployments and post-production performance.Coordinate with technical leads, business users, application owners, infrastructure teams, and vendor support to resolve issues and implement improvements.Prepare technical documentation, configuration updates, SOPs, knowledge articles, deployment steps, and release notes for support and operational handovers.Adhere to coding standards, secure development practices, access controls, and incident/change management procedures.Utilize Service Management tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or BMC Remedy to track incidents, service requests, problems, and changes.Contribute to increasing application stability, reducing recurring issues, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives. Required Skills 4-6 years of hands-on experience in IBM FileNet / FileNet P8 components including Content Platform Engine, object stores, workflows, security, and search functionalitiesStrong knowledge of IBM Content Navigator administration, configuration, and support for desktops, repositories, and plug-insProficiency in Java/J2EE development, including servlets, JSP, REST/SOAP web services, XML, and JSONSolid understanding of Unix/Linux commands, shell scripting, log analysis, and deployment support activitiesExperience in troubleshooting content upload/download issues, workflow processing, and application errorsFamiliarity with application servers such as WebSphere, JBoss, or WebLogic, including JVM and log troubleshootingAbility to coordinate effectively with technical teams, business users, and support stakeholdersExperience with Service Management tools like ServiceNow, Jira, or BMC Remedy is advantageous Nice To Have Skills Knowledge of database basics and repository connectivity troubleshootingExperience with content migration, document ingestion, and batch utilitiesExposure to source control tools such as Git, Azure DevOps, or JenkinsUnderstanding of security and compliance requirements for enterprise content platforms Preferred Education And Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fieldProven track record of application support, minor enhancements, root cause analysis, and defect resolution within enterprise content management projects Other Requirements Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or within a teamWillingness to collaborate across onsite and offshore teamsAbility to prioritize tasks and deliver results within tight deadlinesCertifications related to IBM FileNet or Java/J2EE are a plus If you're ready to take the next step in your career and contribute to impactful enterprise solutions, apply now!
