Principal responsibilities Expertise in administering Splunk cloud & Enterprise EnvironmentMigrate and deploy large scale systems and services on CloudSplunk core administration, installation, troubleshooting management, patching & upgrading of all components.Manage all Splunk components (Search head, indexers, masters, heavy forwarder)Experience in custom application & plugins on CloudManage Splunk Rest APIs & HTTP Event Collectors on Cloud.Expertise in input data managerCreate and manage Splunk alerts with third party ApplicationsExpertise in creating and customizing Splunk applications, searched and dashboardsManage Third party plugins/ Add-onsWrite scripts for Splunk Automation. 6-12 Yrs. of Experience Requirements (Skills) Splunk Administrator & Developer on CloudShould have Splunk Admin certificationsStrong Linux system administration skills, predominantly RHEL. UNIX / Shell scriptingMaintain the run-book for existing proceduresStrong communication skills and documentation skills, both technical and non-technicalAbility to work independently and effectively in a high-pressure environment against multiple deadlines.Capacity to contribute effectively when working as part of a teamBe flexible under pressure.Experience in highly available, highly scalable architectures.
