Backend Developer (.NET)

Rivogaming is building a next-generation iGaming B2B/B2C SaaS platform and is entering the execution phase of a large-scale product development initiative. We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer (.NET) to design and scale the high-throughput microservices at the heart of our platform — wallet, payments, casino, sportsbook, and live player engagement — while owning features end-to-end, from architectural discussions to production deployment. 🔹 What You'll Do Design & Scale Microservices: Build and maintain scalable .NET microservices across auth, wallet, payments, casino, sportsbook, promotions, and player engagement.Build REST APIs & Real-Time Communication: Develop high-performance REST APIs and real-time bi-directional streaming services using ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, SignalR, and WebSockets.Event-Driven Architecture: Design and optimize system components applying Event-Driven Development (EDD) principles using Kafka for event streaming and Redis for caching/distributed locks.High-Concurrency & Financial Engineering: Apply robust concurrency patterns, thread safety, multi-threading practices, and financial-grade patterns (idempotency, optimistic locking, append-only ledgers).Security & Clean Code: Implement backend security standards (secure authentication/authorization, OWASP guidelines, input validation) while upholding OOP and SOLID principles.Integrations: Connect seamless integrations with third-party Casino/Sportsbook providers, aggregators, and global payment gateways.Production Ownership: Drive quality through automated testing, GitLab CI/CD with GitOps deployments to Kubernetes, and observability using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana.Engineering Culture: Review code, challenge requirements at the Definition of Ready stage, and actively raise technical standards within the team. 🔹 What We're Looking For 3+ years of backend development experience with C# and .NET.2+ years of proven backend experience in the iGaming industry (Must Have).Strong production experience with ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core (EF Core), and PostgreSQL.Deep practical knowledge of OOP principles, SOLID principles, and Event-Driven Architecture.Hands-on experience building real-time applications using SignalR and WebSockets.Deep understanding of Concurrency, Multi-Threading, and asynchronous programming in .NETFamiliarity with backend security standards and best practices for secure API developmentHands-on experience with microservices and messaging tools (Kafka or similar).Rigorous testing habits — unit and integration tests are part of your core workflow.Ability to own features independently, from acceptance criteria to production monitoring.Professional working English proficiency.
