Linux Administrator - European Institution Are you looking for the next step in your career? Join NTT DATA! Would you like to pursue your career in Public Institutions? We are currently looking for a Linux Administrator to join our growing client in Luxembourg! Key Responsibilities Linux Server Management * Automate Ubuntu server provisioning using cloud-init, Ansible, or similar configuration management tools ;* Manage automated patching across Dev, Acceptance, and Production environments, ensuring consistency and availability ;* Monitor infrastructure health, performance, and logs to proactively identify and resolve issues ;* Manage and test backup policies and Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP). Cloud Migration & Infrastructure as Code Develop and maintain IaC templates using Terraform or Ansible for sovereign cloud environments ;Contribute to cloud landing zone architecture, including networking, VPCs, IAM, routing, and security ;Plan and execute service and data migrations with minimal production impact. Container Ecosystem & CI/CD Operations Administer, monitor, secure, and scale Docker/Docker Swarm environments and support their migration to the cloud ;Administer GitLab Enterprise, manage secure runner configurations, and optimize CI/CD pipelines ;Manage private container registries (e.g., Harbor), image signing, and vulnerability scanning ;Implement enterprise secrets management and ensure credentials are securely separated from code and pipelines. Background & Experience : 4+ years of experience in Linux Server administration ;Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field ;Proven experience in administering Linux Server environments (ideally Ubuntu and/or Red Hat) including system provisioning, standard maintenance and patch management ;Strong scripting skills (Shell and Python) ;Ability to synthesize, document and explain complex cloud architecture choices to diverse stakeholders. Nice-to-have : Practical experience interacting with OVHcloud, Scaleway, or equivalent platform ;Experience working in container environments using Docker ;Core experience in administering GitLab instances ;Demonstrated experience managing cloud services ;Practical use of Infrastructure as a Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
