Working as a software engineer
In this role, the team’s primary focus is addressing the needs of our Scandinavian customers – those closest to us.
We call this 'local development.' Together with our end-users, we create solutions that simplify their everyday workflows.
Many solutions are tailor-made to meet the expectations of a specific market or a unique customer, enhancing the experience of Sectra’s core offering.
What you will do:
Own products and features end-to-end: design, implementation, testing, documentation, and supportCollaborate with cross-functional teams and end-users, to translate clinical needs into robust solutionsDeliver software with a short release cycle and a fast-paced feedback loopBe part of a team that shares knowledge, coaches each other and give feedback to improveContinuously learn and evaluate new tools, methodologies, and frameworksApply AI tools (e.g.
code assistants, code generators) responsibly to increase velocity without compromising quality, security, or cost

The local development team consists of a tight-knit group of ten developers.
With our base in Linköping, we work alongside many of Sectra's other development teams, collaborating toward shared goals and supporting one another.

What you bring:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within engineering, IT or similar with a strong academic recordExperience with professional software development, with proficiency in C# and the .NET technology stackA strong interest in new and innovative technologyOutside the box thinking and curiosity, to explore user needs and design new solutionsQuality focus through automated testing, build pipelines etc.
Fluency in English and a Scandinavian language, both verbally and written
