Platform Engineer

Our platform currently handles ~600,000 devices and we expect that number to grow further in the following years. For all of our applications and services we mostly use AWS (Amazon Web Services). Our team is responsible for monitoring and maintaining existing platform, working with other teams in order to deliver quality and automation for our services. We are also responsible for building and maintaining our platform and related tools and processes. Our technology stack includes AWS, AWS EKS - Kubernetes (Docker), GitLab + GitLab CI, Kafka, Keycloak, Jenkins and numerous other AWS services (EC2, ECR, S3, SES, SNS, ALB/NLB, WAF, RDS, Route53, SQS, CloudFront, CloudWatch to name a few). Responsibilities Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of our platformIdentify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutionsCommunicate effectively with your colleagues from various teams, helping them with data related tasksYou independently solve everyday problems you encounterYou participate and solve known problems on the platform through on-call passive duty Qualifications and Experience 3+ years of experienceYou worked on larger projects that include multiple servicesGood knowledge of Linux OS,Good knowledge of network technologies,Knowledge of at least one scripting language (shell, python,...),Good knowledge of at least one CI/CD tool (Jenkins, GitLab,...),Good knowledge of at least one IaC tool (Ansible and Terraform preferred),Good knowledge of Docker and/or container orchestration tools (Kubernetes preferred),Basic knowledge of at least one cloud platform (AWS preferred)Knowledge of working with the software version control system (GIT).
