Full-Stack QA Engineer

Position Title: Full-Stack QA Engineer Reporting Line: Reports directly to the QA Lead. Location: Fully Remote General Purpose: Own and continuously improve product quality by testing new features, identifying defects, creating automated tests, recommending process and product improvements, and developing strong feature and product knowledge. Specific Objectives (:12 months): Develop strong product and feature knowledge to independently test assigned product areasDeliver reliable, consistent, and clearly documented testing outcomesTake end-to-end ownership of quality across assigned product areas throughout the development and release lifecycleSupport and expand automated test coverage across agreed product areas Key Activities: Perform thorough functional, integration, API, regression, and exploratory testing of assigned features and product areasReview requirements and acceptance criteria to identify quality risks, gaps, and unclear behaviorDocument defects clearly, including reproduction steps, expected results, actual results, and supporting evidenceDevelop and maintain automated test scripts for assigned product features and regression scenariosInvestigate failed or unstable automated tests and improve test-suite reliabilityContinuously build product and technical knowledge by reviewing relevant documentation and project updatesAsk timely and relevant questions to clarify requirements, risks, and expected product behaviorCollaborate with developers, product managers, and the QA Lead to investigate and resolve quality issuesParticipate in release validation and clearly communicate quality risks before deploymentUse approved AI tools to improve productivity, accelerate testing activities, and streamline day-to-day QA workDemonstrate active engagement and ownership of product quality throughout the development and release lifecycle Requirements Key Competences: Strong ownership of and accountability for product qualityMeticulous attention to detail and a strong quality assurance mindsetGenuine interest in the product and motivation to understand how its features and underlying systems workAbility to consider the broader product context rather than focusing only on individual test stepsCommitment to improving the product and continuously developing as a QA specialistPractical experience in web application testingAbility to manage multiple priorities and switch effectively between different tasksExperience developing and maintaining automated testsAbility to use approved AI tools effectively to improve testing quality and productivityExperience developing and maintaining automated tests (E2E: TypeScript/JavaScript with Playwright; API integration testing: Python) Likely Current Job: Full-Stack QA Engineer or Senior Full-Stack QA EngineerQA Engineer combining manual and automated testing responsibilitiesCurrently employed by companies operating in forex, trading, cryptocurrency, or financial services Benefits Employer Value Proposition: Take meaningful ownership of product quality while working on complex financial products and engaging features in a fully remote companyDevelop automation and AI capabilities through practical day-to-day application, with direct opportunities to improve testing processes and product outcomes Compensation: Competitive base salary with eligibility for performance-based bonuses.
