FULL STACK DEVELOPER The Full Stack Developer at Soberin designs, builds, and maintains the company's web applications and backend systems, keeping them performant, scalable, and secure. You will work with cross-functional teams on new software, design responsive front-end interfaces and APIs, and manage the databases behind them. You will also build the data pipelines and high-performance systems that support financial modeling and trading operations, helping shape the company's technical foundation in the fast-paced fintech/blockchain industry. YOU WILL GET TO DO A LOT OF THINGS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING: Collaborate with the Tech team to conceptualize, develop, and refine innovative software solutions that align with business objectives.Partner with the Quant and Data teams to design and implement scalable data pipelines for financial model development and build high-performance trading execution systems.Design and plan solid software architectures and algorithms specifically for web applications, ensuring scalability and performance.Develop robust and effective APIs, implement responsive front-end interfaces, and rigorously test all components to ensure reliability and usability.Design and maintain efficient data models and manage well-optimized, high-functioning databases to support application performance.Proactively debug, troubleshoot, and optimize systems to ensure consistent functionality and performance.Integrate best practices for cybersecurity into all phases of the development lifecycle to ensure system integrity and resilience against vulnerabilities.Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation to support team collaboration and future scalability.Carry out further tasks as directed by the CTO, or other ad-hoc matters as may arise due to the fast-paced nature of fintech/blockchain startups TO DO THE JOB WELL, WE BELIEVE YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.Experience as a Full-Stack Developer, Software Engineer, or a similar role is a plus but not requiredExposure to building web or mobile applications, whether through study, personal projects, or work, with an eye on performance and scalability.Proficiency in front-end technologies such as Bootstrap, Tailwind, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, React, Vue, or Next, with an understanding of responsive design principles.Extensive experience in at least one backend programming language, such as C#, C++, Rust, Go, Java, Python, JavaScript (Node.js), or Ruby.Strong expertise in designing and managing data models, working with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, MongoDB), writing efficient queries, and utilizing ORMs.Experience building and deploying projects on the cloud (e.g. GCP, AWS, Azure)Familiarity with scientific computation using NumPy, Pandas, Scikit Learn, PyTorch, Tensorflow and Big Data tools such as Spark, Hadoop, and Dask are a big plusA strong understanding of cryptocurrencies, blockchain technologies, and smart contract platforms.Experience with Solidity, Web3, and data wrangling in decentralized ecosystems is highly desirable.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skillsAble to work independently if required, and learn quickly and adapt to different roles in a growing teamA sense of urgency, pragmatism and a solution-oriented approach to problem-solvingAdaptability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment, with the willingness to contribute beyond your core role OUR LIST OF BENEFITS ARE GROWING BUT HERE’S WHAT WE HAVE NOW: Startup culture and opportunity to be part of something earlyHigh career growth opportunitiesIntellectually rigorous environment with top-talent colleaguesHybrid working model (remote work permitted, with physical office presence required for regulatory audits and team days)Health InsuranceOpportunity to be in the front seat in the fintech/blockchain space
