What you'll do We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our AI Platform team at a mid-to-senior level. You'll be working on a largely greenfield codebase, designing, building, testing and maintaining scalable APIs and backend services, with a strong focus on shaping and testing the AI capabilities already built into our platform. To make this happen, you will: Develop and maintain backend services using C# and .NETDesign and evolve scalable APIs for internal and external consumersIntegrate AI-powered capabilities into existing systemsWork with AWS services to build and deploy cloud-based solutionsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver clean, effective solutionsContribute to code reviews and engineering best practicesContinuously improve systems, processes, and code quality What you'll bring You are an experienced developer who takes ownership and delivers high-quality solutions. In addition to that you will bring: Strong experience with .NET / C# (5+ years)Experience building RESTful APIs (ASP.NET Web API) used by multiple consumersSolid understanding of SOLID principles and clean architectureHands-on experience with AWS or other cloud platformsExperience using AI-assisted dev tools to design, write, test and review softwareAbility to critically evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, security, performance, and maintainabilityExperience applying prompt and context-engineering techniques to improve software-development outcomes Even better if you have: Experience building or integrating MCP servers, clients, or toolsExperience designing scalable systems and identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks You are the type of person who: Takes ownership and delivers end-to-endCommunicates clearly and collaborates effectivelySolves problems with a practical, solution-focused mindsetIs comfortable working in a fast-paced environmentContinuously looks to improve systems and ways of workingMaintains a positive and pragmatic attitude Why join CORTO?
