About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead (all genders) in mobile development, specializing in iOS banking applications. This role is based in Nürnberg or München and offers full-time or part-time engagement on a permanent basis. As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for guiding and mentoring a team of iOS developers, overseeing the technical architecture, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure mobile applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product owners, IT, and architecture to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Your expertise will drive the development and continuous improvement of our iOS banking apps, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance, security, and user experience. You will also establish governance standards for code quality, security, and operational monitoring, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the team. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a degree in computer science or a comparable qualification, complemented by several years of professional experience in iOS development, preferably within the banking or financial services sector. You should have a deep understanding of architectural principles such as MVVM and Clean Architecture, along with practical experience in reactive programming frameworks like Combine or RxSwift. Proficiency with iOS frameworks including Security, User Notifications, and XCTest is essential, as is the ability to optimize performance using tools like Xcode Instruments. Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern DevOps practices is highly desirable. Additionally, you should have some prior experience in technical leadership, managing or coordinating teams, and making risk-aware technical decisions. Excellent communication skills in both German and English are required to facilitate collaboration and stakeholder engagement. A strong problem-solving mindset, high risk awareness, and a collaborative approach are vital for success in this role.
