A Snapshot of Your Day As a SAP Software License Manager (f/m/d), you drive the strategic governance and optimization of SAP software licenses across complex ERP and cloud landscapes. You ensure license compliance, analyze consumption and contractual entitlements, and provide expert guidance to stakeholders on licensing strategies, audits, and cost optimization. By collaborating closely with IT, Procurement, Finance, and external partners, you help minimize financial risks and maximize the value of SAP investments. How You’ll Make An Impact Ownership and governance of the SAP Effective License Position (ELP), including license compliance, quality assurance, and risk reportingDevelopment and implementation of SAP license governance frameworks across SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, RISE with SAP, and SAP Cloud environmentsAnalysis, validation, and reconciliation of SAP license consumption data, including user, engine, FUE, and Digital Access metricsIdentification and execution of SAP license optimization initiatives, including cost optimization, compliance remediation, and licensing strategy for transformation programsStrategic advisory for stakeholders on SAP licensing, budgeting, demand planning, supplier negotiations, and commercial decision-makingManagement of SAP license audits, stakeholder communication, and collaboration with SAP, Procurement, Finance, IT, and external organizations such as DSAG What You Bring University degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or a related fieldExtensive professional experience in Software Asset Management (SAM) with a strong focus on SAP software license managementProven expertise in managing SAP licensing across complex landscapes, including SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, RISE with SAP, and SAP Cloud solutionsComprehensive knowledge of SAP licensing models, including Digital Access, indirect usage, user and engine license metrics, and contract analysisStrong analytical expertise in data analysis, license reconciliation, financial modeling, risk management, compliance, and process improvementExcellent stakeholder management, strategic advisory, negotiation support, and communication skills in German and English About The Team In our Business Functions we enable our organization to reach their targets by providing best-in class services and solutions in the areas of IT, HR, Finance, Real Estate, Strategy & Technology and more.
