Senior Data Centre Engineer Amsterdam | Full-Time, Permanent | Overtime Available | Optional Paid Travel Across Europe 65,000 + benefits total package About the Role We're looking for an experienced Data Centre Engineer to support a major client's DC project in Amsterdam. This is a hands-on, client-facing role with ongoing training, paid overtime, and real opportunities to progress. Optional travel across Europe — with all travel and accommodation covered. What You'll Be Doing Installing and terminating structured cabling (copper and fibre) to a high standardRack and stack of servers, switches, and network hardwareCable pulling, dressing, and containmentHardware installation, decommissioning, and fault resolutionLiaising directly with the client on site — providing updates and representing the team professionally What We're Looking For Minimum 2 years' data centre experience, ideally cabling-biasedStrong skills across structured cabling: terminating, rack and stack, cable pullingSolid hardware experienceExcellent communication skills — this is a client-facing role requiring professional, fluent EnglishComfortable with physical work, including lifting heavy equipmentAble to work a continental shift pattern What's In It For You 40-hour week with paid overtime availableContinuous training and development for all engineersTravel and accommodation fully covered when working awayClear progression opportunities on a growing project
