Software Developer - Journeyman

Role Overview: A software developer with 3–8 years of experience is sought to design, develop, test, and troubleshoot applications interfacing with hardware systems. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain hardware communication software, implement device control functionalities, troubleshoot integration issues, and collaborate with engineering teams to deliver reliable solutions. Participate in code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts. Qualifications & Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, or Rust; experience with hardware communication, sensors, controllers, or industrial equipment; strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills; ability to learn new technologies. An active Secret Clearance and US citizenship are required. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of hardware interfaces, robotics, computer vision, and experience with Navy or DoD systems are advantageous. Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, scientific, or technical discipline from an accredited institution.
