Description

15-40 hours per week. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages and frameworks. Proficiency in Drupal search engine technologies, including Solr. Experience with front-end development with the Drupal Platform and web hosting environments. Knowledge of website security best practices, including SSL/TLS8 encryption, firewalls, and malware detection/prevention. Manages and updates website content, including text, images and multimedia elements, using Drupal Platform as the Content Management System (CMS). Assists in the placement of web site content, ensuring consistency, accuracy, appropriateness and timeliness of content and graphic and other standards (e.g., WCAG accessibility compliance) in the Content Management System platforms. Be able to communicate and implement service-related links to other County departments and/or Federal, State and Local agencies and related links. Ensures website security by regularly updating software, plugins, and themes, as well as implementing security protocols and monitoring for vulnerabilities. Troubleshoots technical issues related to website functionality, server configuration, and user access, working closely with IT support and external vendors as needed.
