MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Software Engineer II to join our team in Crane, Indiana.
This position is onsite.
As a core member, you will assist in the research & design, engineering, integration, testing, training, logistics, laboratory research, field engineering, and acquisition and operations analysis in support of a variety of Navy and Marine Corps programs and projects with a focus on defensive cyber technologies, mission assurance, and resilience capabilities for the tactical network environment.
Your effort will go towards dramatically increasing the warfighter’s effectiveness.

Design and implement high-performance software features using languages like C, C++, or GoLead small to medium-sized projects, driving them from concept to completion with precisionMentor junior engineers, sharing your expertise to elevate team performanceChampion agile methodologies and DevSecOps practices to deliver secure, efficient softwareOptimize development and deployment processes using container technologies like Docker, or similar
Minimum Qualifications
BA/BS degree, or, High School Diploma and 6 additional years relevant experience, or, Associates Degree and 4 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a required Bachelors degree5+ years of professional software development experienceProficiency in languages such as C, C++, Go, or equivalentStrong knowledge of agile development and DevSecOps practicesExperience with container technologies like Docker or similar platforms
Desired Qualifications
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldExperience with container orchestration tools.
