Junior/Intermediate Developer

**In Person Only in Lacombe, Alberta** Our electronics manufacturing client located in Lacombe, Alberta seeking a motivated Junior or Intermediate Software Developer to join our growing team. This position offers the opportunity to work on embedded electronics and software solutions while developing your skills across the full software development lifecycle. The successful candidate will contribute to programming control modules, displays, and electronic interfaces while building experience in software design, development, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Responsibilities Program and support electronic control modules, displays, and switchesDesign, develop, troubleshoot, debug, and test software systems and applicationsDeliver high-quality, scalable, readable, and maintainable codeIdentify technical issues, propose solutions, and implement improvementsMaintain clear and accurate technical documentationCollaborate with team members on software development projectsParticipate in additional technical projects and related duties as requiredOccasional travel may be required Requirements Legally entitled to work in CanadaMinimum 2 years of professional software development experienceEmbedded Software expereince is a mustExperience programming in C, C#, and/or C++Experience collaborating with other developers on shared projectsStrong attention to detailExcellent problem-solving and communication skills Preferred Qualifications The following qualifications are considered assets but are not required: Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related fieldExperience with additional programming languagesInterest or aptitude in graphic designKnowledge of CAN Bus protocolsMobile application development (iOS and/or Android)Backend development experienceSQL and database experience What We Value We are looking for individuals who share our commitment to: Honesty – Acting with integrity, professionalism, and accountabilityEndurance – Demonstrating resilience, determination, and a willingness to tackle challengesInnovation – Continuously seeking better solutions and embracing creative thinking Compensation & Benefits Salary: $68,000 - $90,000 per year Compensation is based on education, experience, credentials, and performance.
