Software Engineer - Cloud

The Cloud Software Engineer role involves developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex software systems, including analytics, algorithms, real-time systems, and data management solutions. Responsibilities include reviewing and testing software components, utilizing appropriate development methodologies, and contributing to system design decisions such as hardware/software trade-offs and the use of COTS/GOTS products. The engineer provides Help Desk support, handling tickets via JIRA. Qualifications require a minimum of a high school diploma with 20 years of relevant experience, an associate’s degree with 15 years, or a bachelor’s degree with 12+ years, along with proficiency in React, JavaScript, Git/Gitlab, CI/CD, Helm, Kubectl, Kubernetes, and Docker. Preferred skills include Flux (FluxCD), OAuth2 Proxy, Jira, and Confluence. A current active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph is mandatory. The role demands physical ability to handle workstation equipment and effective communication skills for virtual and in-person interactions. The position focuses on supporting enterprise infrastructure within a dynamic, defense-oriented environment.
