Software Test Engineer

The successful candidate will drive quality assurance for critical medical software products, ensuring reliability and performance across diverse technology stacks. This role focuses on modernizing testing workflows through advanced automation and the integration of artificial intelligence. What you'll be doing • Design and manage end-to-end test strategies including unit, integration, system, UI, and performance tests. • Develop and scale test harnesses and CI pipelines for C++ desktop, .NET, and modern web applications. • Plan and execute load and performance testing to identify stability risks and system bottlenecks. • Collaborate with architecture and product teams to implement shift-left engineering practices. • Utilize AI agents and tools to generate, maintain, and triage automated test suites and workflows. What we're looking for • Extensive experience in senior-level test automation and multi-layered frameworks within regulated environments. • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering with a strong academic record. • Proficiency in C#, Java, Python, or TypeScript and experience with tools like Ranorex, Playwright, or Cypress. • Proven track record of integrating AI tools and agentic coding workflows into QA and CI/CD pipelines. • Professional fluency in both German and English with a proactive, quality-focused mindset.
