Embedded Software Engineer Now Needed In Bristol To Join Well Established Company In Industrial Sector. I Am Seeking An Experienced Embedded Software Engineer With 4 Yrs Plus Embedded C / Baremetal Programming Expertise To Design And Develop Embedded Firmware For Industrial Tools And Their Related Interface And Communication Systems. Applicants Need To Have Some Of The Following Areas Of Expertise Comms protocols – SPI, CAN, RS485Debugging expertise using tools such as oscilloscopes and logic analysers Experience of using source-code control systems such as GitGood appreciation for electronics design Experience in developing multithreaded and/or multi-process embedded systemsUMLKnowledge of ARM and/or Microchip dsPIC architecturesscripting language such as PythonRTOS expertise You need to have good communication skills being able to collaborate successfully with the software team, and with the wider engineering team ensuring that development milestones and deadlines are met.
