Position: Java Developer with AI Tools Experience Location: Montreal, QC (Hybrid) Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with AI Tools Experience to join our team in Montreal. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building production-grade backend applications, designing scalable distributed systems, and leveraging modern AI/Agentic AI tools to develop innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java-based backend systems.Build scalable, reliable, and distributed applications for production environments.Develop and integrate AI-powered and Agentic AI solutions into business applications.Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability.Work with relational and document-oriented databases.Utilize Linux/Unix environments and scripting for development and deployment activities.Follow software engineering best practices, design patterns, and DevOps principles. Required Skills: 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.Strong expertise in Core Java and distributed system design.Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.Experience with relational and NoSQL/document-oriented databases.Strong Linux/Unix and scripting skills.Experience with Agentic AI development, AI tools, or AI-driven applications.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
