We're migrating our entire legacy data platform (Redshift, stored procedures, manual pipelines) to a modern lakehouse architecture built on Databricks and dbt.
You'll play a key role in re-engineering rigid pipelines into decentralized data products, using data contracts, dimensional modeling, and medallion-layer patterns.

As a Data Engineer Finance & UX, you play a key role in building and improving the data foundation that supports data-driven decisions within Cross Border Solutions.
You design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines, data models and warehouses that serve domains such as Finance, Customs and Customer Experience.
Using technologies such as dbt, Redshift and Databricks, you transform complex data into reliable and accessible data products for reporting and analytics.
Data quality, transparency and consistency are central to your work, helping business teams make decisions with confidence.
In your day-to-day work, you develop and optimize SQL-based pipelines, views and stored procedures, while supporting the migration from legacy Redshift solutions to our modern data platform.
You investigate and resolve data quality issues from source system to dashboard and help standardize metrics, business definitions and reusable data products.
You work closely with Data Analysts, Analytics Engineers, Data Scientists and business stakeholders to understand requirements, validate outputs and deliver valuable insights.
In addition, you contribute to improving ways of working through Git-based development, CI/CD, testing and documentation, while sharing knowledge and supporting the development of your team members.

The benefits for this position are:
Salary between €4.091 and €6.498 gross per month (scale 11) at 37 hours per week.Do you work two days or more per week from home? Higher education or academic background (HBO/WO) relevant to this work field.3+ years of relevant working experience, strong in modeling raw data into reusable data products following dimensional modeling principles (star/snowflake schema, treating data as a product)Experience building and maintaining ELT/ETL pipelines in a production environmentStrong SQL experience, you’re able to write, optimize, and debug complex analytical queries on cloud warehousesHands-on dbt experience: developing, testing, documenting, and deploying models, preferably on a Databricks environment.Experience with CI/CDFamiliarity with cloud data platforms (AWS and/or Databricks)
