Senior Software Engineer

Ease is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to help extend and evolve EASE Audits, our flagship enterprise SaaS offering. This role is for someone who can navigate the full stack but is strongest and most energized working on back-end services, data, and APIs. About Ease Audits EASE Audits is the cloud platform manufacturers use to run quality, safety, and operational audits at scale. It standardizes auditing across sites, surfaces non-conformances the moment they appear, and carries them through root cause to corrective action. As we evolve Audits, AI-powered Digital Workers join plant teams, using cameras, sensors, and machine data to continuously monitor conditions, spot issues early, and alert the people who can act on them. Position Summary In this role, you’ll be a key member of the Audits team, owning performance, data integrity, and the API and data-model decisions behind the platform. You’ll strengthen scalability, optimize data flows, and deliver the integrations that keep the product competitive. You bring strong development skills, sound engineering judgment, and the ability to thrive in dynamic product environments. Position Location: Hybrid in Irvine office Annual Salary Range: $170,000-$195,000 What You'll Do Build for scale. Design and deliver back-end capabilities that make Audits faster, more resilient, and ready for what’s next.Ship key enhancements. Build new features, improvements, and integrations across APIs, workflows, and data layers to deliver critical customer value.Extend the platform. Help bring AI-driven inspections alongside the audits customers run today.Work agentically. Make coding agents a first-class part of your workflow, and help evolve how our teams use them.Shape the work, not just the code. Partner with Product, UX, and QA to turn early ideas into decisions the team can build on.Champion quality. Write clean code and tests that are valuable, keeping the platform dependable. Require Qualifications & Skills 5+ years of professional software development experience, with significant server-side and platform work.Strong back-end development experience with ASP.NET Core / C#, including APIs built for high-volume SaaS applications.Solid experience with relational databases, effective data modeling, and diagnosing performance problems in production systems.Demonstrated fluency with agentic and AI-assisted development, including setting the constraints and agent skills needed to keep output solid.Familiarity with asynchronous processing, caching, and security best practices.Proficient in unit and API testing, with the judgment to know what is worth testing.A track record of driving solutions to completion with a high degree of ownership.B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience with TypeScript applications built in Angular, or in React and Next.js.Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architecture, including data isolation and per-tenant configuration.Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, SQS, SNS, or RDS.Experience with manufacturing or quality management systems, including integration with platforms such as ERP, MES, or QMS.
