In this role, you will primarily work on website development and system UI/UX design projects, collaborating closely with our engineering team based in the Philippines. Objectives of the Role The primary objective of the Web Development Manager is to lead and guide the development team to deliver high-quality, innovative web solutions that meet business objectives and exceed client expectations. By ensuring effective coordination among team members, streamlining workflows, and maintaining stringent quality standards, the Web Development Manager drives productivity, fosters professional growth within the team, and contributes to the organization’s digital success. Responsibilities Manage the front-end engineering team (currently four members, with plans for expansion)Oversee website development and system UI/UX design and ensure successful implementationReview source code and resolve technical issuesIdentify bugs, understand their root causes, and provide the team with improvement measuresConduct remote meetings with clients (primarily large, publicly listed companies in Japan)Handle project progress tracking, cost estimation, and quality controlTrain and nurture the engineering team based in the PhilippinesUnderstand client requirements and coordinate initiatives to ensure project 120,000-150,000 Salary Offer Development Department Full-time Employment Type Project Management Job Functions For more details, please contact us here Required Skills And Qualifications Educational Background College Graduate Technical Skills Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, as well as familiarity with one or more modern JavaScript frameworks.Experience with responsive and mobile-first design principles.Understanding of UI/UX best practices and a keen eye for aesthetic detail.Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and build tools (e.g., Webpack, Gulp).Knowledge of SEO principles, web accessibility standards (WCAG), and browser compatibility considerations. Soft Skills Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.Open to feedback and dedicated to continuous learning and improvement. Experience At least five (5) years of actual experience in both design and management.
