Join the Albert Heijn Store Operations team as a QA Engineer and help us deliver reliable, high-quality software for our web, mobile and backend platforms. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in testing our services, extending and maintaining our end-to-end (e2e) test automation repositories, and ensuring our customers enjoy seamless experiences every day. What You’ll Do Design, build, and maintain automated tests to catch issues early and deliver confidently at scaleConduct manual exploratory and feature testing when needed, ensuring comprehensive coverage and uncovering edge casesContribute to the evolution of our test automation strategy and champion best practices across the teamCollaborate closely with developers and product owners to continuously improve the quality, performance, and reliability of our systemsParticipate in code reviews, CI/CD processes, and agile ceremonies as an active member of our engineering teamPlay a key role in guaranteeing that millions of customers see the right product data and prices in real time, every single day What We’re Looking For Experience with one or more of the following: WebdriverIO, Appium, Playwright, KarateExperience in Kotlin or TypeScriptSolid understanding of test automation principles and frameworksFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and code repository/review tools (e.g., GitHub, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence)Hands-on experience with manual exploratory and feature testing is highly valuedExperience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured) is a plusExperience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr) is an advantageA quality-driven mindset and eagerness to learn and experiment with new tools and approachesStrong collaboration and communication skills; you thrive in a team environment and enjoy making things happenProactive, tech-savvy, and passionate about delivering high-quality softwareExperience working in an agile software development environmentLocated in The Netherlands Nice to Have Experience with cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs)Familiarity with Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) or Context Driven TestingExperience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)Knowledge of performance and security testing What We Offer At AH Technology we aim to grow, and this is only possible if you grow along with us.
