Senior Kotlin Developer Location: Birmingham (Hybrid - 2 days per week onsite) Salary: £57,500 - £72,000 + Benefits We're working with a leading digital consultancy that delivers complex software solutions for large-scale organisations across the UK. Due to continued growth and a significant pipeline of projects, we're looking to recruit experienced Senior Kotlin Developers to join a highly collaborative engineering team. This is an opportunity to work on modern, cloud-native applications, solving complex technical challenges and delivering high-quality software that makes a real impact. The Role As a Senior Kotlin Developer, you'll play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend systems within agile, multidisciplinary teams. You will: Develop high-quality backend applications using KotlinDesign and build scalable, cloud-native solutions within AWSWork closely with engineers, architects, product managers and delivery teamsChampion engineering best practices, testing, and code qualityContribute to technical discussions and solution designSupport and mentor other developers within the team Requirements We're looking for candidates with: Strong commercial experience developing software using KotlinProven backend/software engineering experience (non-mobile)Hands-on commercial experience working with AWS (essential)Experience building scalable, resilient applications and servicesA solid understanding of modern software engineering principles and practicesExperience working in agile delivery environmentsStrong communication and collaboration skillsDesirable Experience working within a consultancy environmentExperience delivering projects within the public sectorExposure to modern frontend technologiesWhat's on Offer?
