Description

Roles and Responsibilities: Gathers and analyses business needs and requirements and conducts technical study and assessment of solutions to address requirements. • Design of DevSecOps strategy: 1. Design and implement an Agile work management approach 2. Recommend a quality strategy 3. Design a secure development process / DevSecOps Implementation • Participate in design and implements automation and configuration management products in internal and client environments, including on premise/hosted, cloud service providers such as Azure, Google, OCI • The implementation of DevSecOps development processes: 1. Design a version control strategy 2. Implement and integrate source control 3. Implement and manage build infrastructure 4. Implement code flow 5. Managing application configuration and secrets using Vaults • The design and implementation of continuous integration: 1. Manage code quality and security policies 2. Implement a container build, orchestration / build strategy • The design and implementation of continuous delivery: 1. Set up a release management workflow 2. Implement an appropriate deployment pattern • The design and implementation of application infrastructure: 1. Design an infrastructure and configuration management strategy 2. Implement Infrastructure as code (IaC) 3. Manage Kubernetes Service infrastructure 4. Familiar with Helm chart usages & NPMImplement infrastructure compliance and security • The design and implementation of continuous feedback: 1. Recommend and design system feedback mechanisms 2. Implement process for routing system feedback to development teams 3. Optimize feedback mechanisms • Create gold image build, automate build process and integrate applications • Ability to evaluate new technology options and vendor products • Write code to automate repeatable processes • Work with the Testing and Delivery teams to ensure issues identified during test phase are resolved before release to Production environment. • Ensure compliance with best practices, internal and customer standards • Ensure documents are produced for all work using required standards, methods and tools and configurations items and their relationships are documented • Automate delivery processes and automation, standardization and optimization • Own APIOps and pipeline management, and build/manage Azure infrastructure Educational Qualifications: • Degree in Computer Science or Engineering • Accreditations e.g. Microsoft Azure DevSecOps Engineer Expert or Google Cloud - Professional Cloud DevSecOps Engineer, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) DevSecOps Professional. • Accreditations: Good to have - Ansible/AKS certifications, ITIL foundation, CKA/CKAD, Azure/GCP/OCI associate or professional level Skills & Experience: • At least 8 years, related experience • Experience with hyperscalers: Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle OCI • Familiar with agile methodologies, test plan creation and testing • Engineering skills including build design, build automation, SOE creation, provisioning cloud Infra. • Deep understanding of DevSecOps, cloud computing technologies (Azure, Google, OCI), business drivers, and emerging computing trends. • Experience with configuring Code Quality tools viz. SonarQube, OWASP toolset, Pipelines, Artifacts, NPM, Maven, Nugget packages. • Experience in - deploying container images in Kubernetes using Helm Charts. In addition to ingress, services, config maps etc. • Experience with Windows, Linux and OSS technologies. • Experience with configuration management and automation technologies such as Terraform, PowerShell/bash scripts, Chef/Ansible, Bicep / ARM Templates. • Experience with deploying infrastructure for databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL. • Working knowledge with AGILE development, SCRUM and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) with one or more of the following programming languages (preferred): PowerShell, Bash, .NET etc.. • Exposure to Solace, Camunda or MuleSoft-hosted workloads
