Graduate Geotechnical Engineer

Company Description Rapid Geo Pty Ltd is a Sydney-based firm specialising in geotechnical and environmental inspections, certifications, and validations for civil contractors and commercial and residential developers. We provide immediate support with on-site validations and testing for the growing construction industry in NSW. Our team focuses on delivering timely and efficient geotechnical and environmental services for projects. Role Description We are seeking a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer for a full-time, on-site role based in Sydney, NSW. In this position, you will conduct: Dynamic cone penetration (DCP) tests to assess the bearing capacity of ground conditions.Assist in excavation assessments.Assist senior geotechnical engineers in field and office tasks.Pile inspections and integrity testing.Collect soil samples to be tested within our in-house laboratory.Perform geotechnical assessments to confirm ground suitability for construction, and provide remediation strategies where required.This is an on-site role, moving between multiple sites a day. What We’re Looking For: A recent graduate with a degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.Interest in site-based work, including hands-on field assessments and exposure to construction sites.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Willingness to learn and grow, with a focus on delivering high-quality geotechnical solutions.Ideally experience in Civil Engineering, however, not required.
