Mid / Senior Android Developer
Compensation: PLN 340,000 - 520,000/year
We are looking for a Mid / Senior Android Developer with strong native Android and Kotlin experience to work on high-scale, live B2C applications.
This is a hands-on engineering role requiring strong technical depth across Android architecture, concurrency, system design, feature ownership, testing, and end-to-end application delivery.
What We’re Looking For
4+ years of native Android/Kotlin experience with a CS/STEM degree, or 6+ years of relevant software engineering experience without a CS/STEM degree.For Senior candidates: 5+ years with a CS/STEM degree or 8+ years without a degree.Maximum of 20 years' total experience.Recent experience (within the last 2–3 years) focused primarily on native Android development with Kotlin.Strong experience with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Views/XML, MVVM, Clean Architecture, Coroutines, Flow, and Dependency Injection (Dagger 2, Hilt or Koin).Experience designing and working with multi-module architecture, Domain/Data layer separation, DTO mappers, Room, SQLite, RecyclerView and DiffUtil.Strong understanding of concurrency, async data streams, thread safety, memory management, performance optimisation, and foundational computer science/data structures.Proven ownership of new features involving architecture and backend integration rather than maintenance, support, debugging, or UI-only work.Hands-on ownership across the application lifecycle, including architecture, development, CI/CD, Google Play releases, crash/error tracking and production monitoring.Experience with unit, UI or visual regression testing, using tools such as JUnit, MockK/Mockito, Espresso, Robolectric or Screenshot Testing.Experience working with high-scale B2C Android applications published on Google Play, ideally with 100k–1M+ users, with 1M+ monthly active users particularly relevant.Strong English communication skills and experience collaborating with Product Managers, Designers and Engineers in fast-paced, cross-functional teams.

Preferred Background
Experience within fintech, neobanking, payments, high-scale B2C apps, or high-growth technology companies is particularly relevant.

Candidates from traditional IT outsourcing or consultancy environments should have clear evidence of long-term, embedded hands-on ownership of a high-scale B2C product.
Important Requirements
The role requires recent hands-on native Android development.
Profiles primarily focused on Flutter, React Native, Xamarin, iOS, legacy Java-only development, pure management/architecture, support, or debugging are not aligned.
Candidates should also demonstrate stable experience, with repeated tenures below 18–24 months requiring clear contract, project, or promotion context.
A CS/STEM university degree is a nice-to-have, with equivalent engineering experience considered for candidates without a degree.
