System Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner! The Role Take full technical ownership of Business Applications and manage their entire lifecycle. Operate and administer Web Application Servers (e.g. IIS, Tomcat, WildFly, Apache, nginx) and related database systems. Design and implement new services, interfaces, upgrades, and migration concepts within complex, highly available infrastructures. Analyze and resolve incidents, optimize system performance, and provide 3rd Level Support. Automate recurring operational tasks with PowerShell, Python, or Bash and create high-quality technical documentation. What You'll Need Several years of experience in operating and administering business or web applications in enterprise environments. Deep expertise in application and platform operations. Strong hands-on skills with Web Application Servers on Linux and Windows. Solid knowledge of relational databases (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash). Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
