Who we are
We are responsible for developing application solutions for mobile robots, discovering various use cases centered on finished car factories, and developing robot solutions to enhance product competitiveness.
Based on meaningful use cases in the manufacturing field, we are developing payload hardware, application solution software.
It also develops integrated control services, expands commercialization of our robots, and improves product value.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will integrate heterogeneous robot systems through a central middleware, establish a unified interface and standard I/F·API system, and design a factory-wide robot operation architecture encompassing MES, WMS/WCS, SCADA, and ERP.
This ensures expanded robot applications, system change response, and operational flexibility.
■ Robot System Integration Architecture and Standard I/F/API Specification Definition
Designing high-level architecture and integration structures for connecting heterogeneous robot systems—including humanoid robots, AMRs/AGVs, and quadruped robots—to factory operating environments Designing high-level architectures for factory-connected mobile robot systems, defining end-to-end integration frameworks between robots and operational systems, and establishing system responsibilities and integration approaches with scalability and flexibility in mind Collaborating with robot development and RF development organizations to define standard interface and API specifications Define interfaces for robot control, status, event, and telemetry data, and design heterogeneous communication protocols such as HTTP, gRPC, TCP/IP, and Modbus Designing integration architectures and defining operational systems based on the Robot Friendly Environment (RF) concept to facilitate robot-based automation systems, including infrastructure, control systems, auxiliary devices such as AMRs, operational processes, and integration ecosystems
■ Robot–Operations System Integration Interface Development and Validation
Designing and developing in-house adapters and middleware to integrate robot systems with operations systems Developing viral interfaces based on mocks, simulators, or mimics to replace systems or external integration components that are not yet available during development Performing system integration testing, validating operational scenarios, and documenting technical specifications and test results
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Robotics, or a related disciplines Minimum 5 years of experience in developing large-scale or heterogeneous system integration, including robot application development and automation system interfaces Proficiency in English (fluent in both written and oral business communication) Experience in designing high-level architectures and defining standard I/F & APIs for external systems Experience in developing Adapters/Middleware and integrating systems within heterogeneous environments Experience in conducting integration tests based on Mock/Simulator/Mimic (experience in robot, manufacturing, logistics, or smart factory integration is preferred) Experience in utilizing at least one backend programming language (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python, Go, etc.) Experience in API communication and network technologies (HTTP, gRPC, TCP/IP, message-based communication, etc.) Experience in defining data formats and interfaces (JSON, Protobuf, etc.) Experience in documenting development deliverables (design specifications, interface specs, etc.) and utilizing configuration management and collaboration tools (e.g., Git)
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Engineering (Electronics, Control, Information & Communication, Robotics, Computer Science, Software) Those who have network-related certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) or information security certifications (e.g., CISSP) Experience in participating from the initial design phase of platforms or core systems, and establishing technical standards through collaboration with multiple organizations (Development, Operations, External Vendors)
(*Senior Core Developer capable of designing and verifying connectivity methods and standards between systems)
Experience in deploying, managing, and operating industrial networks and latest wireless communication technologies for robots (especially mobile robots, collaborative robots) Experience in message-based or event-driven architectures, optimizing performance and scalability in distributed system environments, and developing test scenarios or simulators (Mock)
