About The Role
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with expertise in Ansible, Python, and container management to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will be instrumental in automating infrastructure, maintaining reliable systems, and supporting our developer teams.
You will serve as the backbone of our operational environment, ensuring that our Python applications and associated services run seamlessly and securely.
Your work will involve developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), managing containerized environments with Docker and Nomad, and implementing CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a relevant IT qualification, such as an IT-related degree or vocational training, combined with practical experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Linux system engineering.
Demonstrable expertise in automation using Ansible or similar tools, along with solid Linux scripting skills in Bash and Python, is essential.
Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Docker-Compose, as well as familiarity with CI/CD pipelines—preferably with GitLab CI—is required.
Additional knowledge of Nomad, Prometheus, Grafana, Greylog, and databases like PostgreSQL or Oracle is advantageous.

Responsibilities
Lead automation initiatives by developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code using Ansible to manage configuration and deployment of Linux-based systems.Act as a primary point of contact for IT support, handling service requests and troubleshooting issues within ITSM platforms such as Jira and ServiceNow.Manage containerized environments, creating and maintaining Docker-Compose deployments for static applications and utilizing Nomad for dynamic service orchestration.Develop, implement, and monitor CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable deployment of Python applications (FastAPI, Airflow) and Vue.js frontends.Administer Linux servers, ensuring system health through proactive monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, and Greylog, and resolving issues before they impact operations.Support the operation of Docker-based applications like KIDICAP and collaborate with database teams managing Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.Continuously improve infrastructure and operational processes, contributing to the stability and scalability of our systems.
