Position Overview
GLDS is seeking an experienced Full-Stack Delphi Software Engineer to join our international software development team.
Candidates must be located in one of the following existing GLDS regions:
Kaunas, LithuaniaPolandBrazil
Team members located in Kaunas may work from our regional office.
Candidates located in Poland or Brazil will work remotely as part of GLDS’s established regional teams.
This position is not open to candidates outside these locations.
Delphi expertise is the most important technical qualification for this role.
The successful candidate will have experience across the complete software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, system design, application development, testing, quality assurance, deployment, maintenance, and enhancement.
Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance GLDS billing, subscriber management, and operational support applications.
Work across the application stack, including user interfaces, business logic, integrations, APIs, database development, and web-based functionality.
Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including:
Requirements analysisTechnical designApplication developmentCode reviewTesting and quality assuranceDeploymentTroubleshootingOngoing maintenance and enhancement
Develop and support applications involving:
Billing and subscriber managementEquipment provisioning and controlPay-per-view servicesWeb-enabled customer self-serviceInteractive voice and audio response technologiesConditional access controlPayment and credit card processingSaaS applicationsThird-party system integrationsBroadband and telecommunications operations
Support software deployed across Windows and Linux environments.
Collaborate with software engineers, quality assurance personnel, support teams, and other stakeholders located in multiple countries.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical disciplineProfessional verbal and written English communication skillsMinimum of 3 to 5 years of professional software engineering experienceStrong professional experience developing applications with DelphiFull-stack application development experienceStrong understanding of object-oriented programmingExperience developing SQL client/server applicationsExperience working with relational database systemsExperience with application architecture, debugging, testing, and performance optimizationAbility to work effectively within a distributed international development teamMust be legally authorized to work from Lithuania, Poland, or Brazil without sponsorship from GLDS
Preferred Qualifications
Firebird RDBMS experience is beneficial but not required.
