IVER is a leading Nordic IT and cloud transformation partner, delivering secure and innovative solutions in operations, cybersecurity, and cloud services. We've outgrown the Windows-locked black box of Power BI. We're building a high-performance, open-source analytics platform on strong on-prem infrastructure: a stack built on ClickHouse, Cube.js, and Apache Superset. First architectural decisions are made and we're already in the testing phase. We're looking for a code-driven Data Engineer who lives and breathes data modeling and semantic layer design to help translate our existing Power BI logic into this modern, transparent, scalable stack. You'll work with real systems and data, at scale, alongside experienced platform engineers. The position is available from 1st October 2026. SALARY: 11 600 – 16 250 PLN gross/month Permanent 80 - 120 net/hour B2B 14 000 – 19 500 PLN net/month B2B KEY FACTS: Design and implement of the semantic layer to serve as the "single source of truth" for internal and customer BI.Translate legacy Power BI reports and business logic into the new technology stack.Build, maintain, and optimize robust ELT pipelines.Ensure high performance and query optimization across our data models. WE EXPECT FROM YOU: Strong data modeling: layered models, business metrics, clean semantic layersAdvanced SQL: ingestion, complex manipulation, query optimizationPython (or another backend language) and a solid Git-based workflowELT experience: robust pipelines, multi-source integration, Change Data Capture (CDC)Hands-on with Airflow or similar orchestration toolsA configuration-as-code mindsetClear communicator, comfortable with hybrid work, English B2/C1 APPRECIATED: BI migration experience (Power BI / SSIS → open-source stack)Cube.js, ClickHouse, or Apache SupersetDockerA sharing mindset - open to putting your engineering out in the world AI-FIRST MINDSET We encourage AI-assisted engineering and provide access to assistants like GitHub Copilot and Claude.
