This role will be part of the Corporate Functions Tower for Group Technology ( IT1.12), which oversees IT service delivery and manages key relationships across all corporate and central units, including Finance, HR, Legal & Compliance, Services/Facilities, and Procurement. The IT Section Reinsurance Finance Systems delivers business value through the management of IT products including execution of change projects for all Finance departments of Munich RE’s Reinsurance Divisions worldwide. Your Job We are looking for a motivated and committed working student with an IT background to support us in the further development of cloud-native applications in Microsoft Azure with: Independent development of features for the frontend and backendSupport in documenting IT systems and processesSupport in analyzing and resolving technical issuesContribute to the maintenance and support of existing IT systems Your Profile Currently enrolled at a university or university of applied sciences with a focus on computer science, information technology, or a comparable fieldAvailable for at least 16 hours per weekBasic knowledge of programming languages such as C#, Java, or PythonExperience with Microsoft Azure and/or Angular for front-end development is an advantageGood knowledge of documentation methods and toolsVery good communication and teamwork skills in both German and EnglishAbility to work independently and solve problemsFlexibility and adaptability to new technologies and requirements Students from countries outside the EU require a German residence-/work permit. The first master's degree may not have been completed before/during the entire internship.
