Job Description What is the opportunity? As a Sr. solution engineer, you will be responsible for supporting application teams in all their DevOps needs and implementation. You will be working directly with the application teams to guide, troubleshoot and resolve any issues in the CICD pipeline. You will also be involved with major migration initiative working directly with application teams. What will you do? Support app teams to migrate from Jenkins, RLM or manual deployment to GitHub Actions.Troubleshoot and resolve any DevOps related issuesCreate and Debug CI CD pipeline stages writing various stagesImplement any automation or configuration needed to ensure successful integrationWrite POM and Settings from scratch and working with various code basesSet up GitHub Actions and workflow details, execution and runners What do you need to succeed? Must-Have Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Diploma in IT with equivalent IT experienceHands on Experience of CICD pipelineCreating and Debugging CI CD pipeline stagesWriting various stagesWorking with various code basesComplete Understanding Maven – Concept of POM, SuperPOMWrite POM from scratch.Write Settings from scratchUnderstand and execute builds for project types NPMUnderstand and execute builds for project types PyPiabout npm commands.NET – dotnet and msbuildGitHub Actions – Their workflow details and execution, runners Hands on Experience of tools such as:Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitOps, Artifactory, SonarQube, Teraform and UCD, AnsibleJenkins Build, Multibranch Pipelines, Maven PipelinesDebugging Jenkins FailuresConfiguration of SonarQubeTheir purpose and configurationExperience on CD tools like Terraform, UCDConfiguration and deployment tools like AnsibleUnderstanding and hands on experience on:Docker and Containerization – Writing Dockerfiles, Docker commandsKubernetes Clusters and their managementConcept of Deployment, Namespaces, PV/PVC in K8sHelm charts and their purposeDeployment using Kubernetes – Helm and KubectlTroubleshooting Kubernetes events, POD failures, logs, nodes Nice to Have Skills and Experience: Hands on Experience of CICD pipeline with a complete understanding of NPM or NugutWriting Declarative pipelines using GroovyExcellent Communication SkillsAgile Tools like JIRA, ServiceNowScripting Experience – Groovy, Shell, Python What’s in it for you?
