About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping and maintaining our infrastructure, ensuring the reliable operation of our Python-based applications and containerized environments.
Your primary responsibility will be to automate and optimize our infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, with a focus on Ansible.
You will collaborate closely with development teams to support CI/CD pipelines, monitor system health, and implement scalable solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for automation, a solid understanding of Linux environments, and practical experience with container management and orchestration tools.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a relevant IT qualification, such as an IT-related degree or vocational training, complemented by substantial professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Linux system engineering.
Proven expertise in automating infrastructure with Ansible or similar tools is essential.
Strong proficiency in Linux operating systems, scripting languages such as Bash and Python, and containerization technologies like Docker and Docker-Compose is required.
Experience with CI/CD pipeline development, preferably with GitLab CI, is highly desirable.
Knowledge of ITSM tools such as Jira or ServiceNow, as well as familiarity with container orchestration systems like Nomad, will be considered advantageous.
A proactive mindset, excellent communication skills, and a team-oriented approach are critical for success in this role.
Responsibilities
As a DevOps Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
Driving automation initiatives through Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate configuration management and deployment processes for virtual Linux systems using Ansible to ensure consistency and efficiency.Providing IT support and managing service requests: Act as a central point for technical inquiries, handling and resolving tickets at 2nd and 3rd levels via ITSM tools such as Jira and ServiceNow.Managing containerized environments: Oversee the operation of Docker and Docker-Compose deployments for static applications and utilize Nomad for more dynamic service orchestration.Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines: Build and optimize GitLab CI/CD workflows to support the deployment and operation of Python applications (FastAPI, Airflow) and Vue.js frontends.Monitoring system health and stability: Administer Linux servers, utilize Prometheus, Grafana, and Greylog to monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and ensure high availability.Supporting process integration: Assist in managing Docker-based applications such as KIDICAP and collaborate with database teams working with Oracle and PostgreSQL to ensure seamless data operations.
