This role contributes to the design, implementation, and support of cloud-native platform capabilities that enable engineering teams to build, deploy, and operate scalable, secure applications. The Platform Engineer partners with cross-functional teams to improve infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and observability practices while supporting the organization’s transition toward SRE principles. Essential Functions Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code using tools such as Terraform and GitLab CI/CDSupport containerized platforms (e.g., Kubernetes/EKS) and microservices-based architecturesCollaborate with engineering teams to improve system reliability, scalability, and deployment processesContribute to observability practices including monitoring, logging, and alertingAssist in modernizing legacy systems toward cloud-native architecturesTroubleshoot platform and deployment issues and support incident resolutionDocument platform standards, processes, and best practices Qualifications Experience with AWS or comparable cloud platformsFamiliarity with Kubernetes (EKS preferred) and container orchestrationExperience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code practicesBasic understanding of SRE principles and observability toolingSoftware engineering or scripting experience (e.g., Python, Go, Bash)2-4 years of experienceBachelors degree or equivalent experience This job operates in a professional office environment.
