Assistant Vice President, Trade Systems Development

Our client is well known IT Solutions Company, they are looking for an Assistant VP to support their project with trade system development experience. Responsibilities Responsible for the design, development and support of trading applications.Involve in the system development cycle including requirement study & analysis, design, code development, testing, quality assurance and documentation activities.Work closely with operations and other business units to gather requirements, implement changes, and support system upgrades.Collaborate with the offshore team for the development of the in-house settlement system.Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality- settlement trading system, troubleshooting issues and resolving incidents in a timely manner.Will be required to work some weekends as part of the normal scheduled work.Perform ad hoc special projects as requested by the immediate supervisor. Requirements Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.5 years+ hands-on experience in Java/SQL development and 2 years + trading system support experience.In-depth knowledge for different financial products (equities, futures, option, bond, structural products).In-depth knowledge for securities operation.Preferably hands-on experience in Java, Oracle, PL/SQL, Hibernate, Spring framework.Strong knowledge in Linux and Windows development platform.Good communication skills in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.Immediately available is preferred.
