The Role We're looking for a Mid-Level .NET Software Engineer to help build and evolve modern cloud-native applications used by enterprise customers. This is a hands-on software engineering role where you'll work across backend services, cloud infrastructure, APIs, and data platforms to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable solutions. You'll collaborate closely with experienced engineers, product stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to solve complex technical challenges while continuing to develop your own skills and expertise. What You'll Be Doing Develop and maintain applications using .NET and C#Build scalable backend services and APIs that support enterprise applicationsContribute to technical design discussions and solution architectureDevelop cloud-native solutions using AWS and serverless technologiesWork with NoSQL databases to design and manage scalable data modelsCollaborate with frontend, product, and platform teams to deliver high-quality softwareWrite clean, maintainable, and well-tested codeTroubleshoot and resolve issues across application and cloud infrastructure layersContribute to CI/CD pipelines and software delivery processesSupport application performance, reliability, and operational excellenceParticipate in code reviews and share knowledge with the wider engineering team What We're Looking For 2–5 years of commercial software engineering experienceStrong experience developing applications using .NET and C#Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS preferred, Azure or GCP also considered)Exposure to serverless architectures such as AWS LambdaExperience working with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB or MongoDBGood understanding of software design principles and modern development practicesStrong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindsetAbility to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Nice to Have Experience with frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or VueExperience building and consuming REST APIsFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesUnderstanding of microservices and distributed systemsExperience with containerisation technologies such as Docker and KubernetesExposure to infrastructure-as-code and cloud automationExperience working within Agile delivery environments Please note: We offer flexible hybrid working, but candidates should be based in Northern Ireland and able to attend our Belfast office when required.
