Description

This is a hybrid role combining full stack development and DevOps responsibilities, focused on maintaining, enhancing, and reliably deploying existing React-based internal tools used by the People team. The role involves working on an already established platform rather than building from scratch, with responsibility spanning application development, deployment, and operational support. What you’ll do Develop and enhance existing React-based internal applicationsWork on backend services, including feature development and basic issue triagingDebug and resolve frontend and backend production issuesParticipate in PR reviews, code reviews, and team collaborationDeploy and maintain internal applications across AWS, GCP, or Kubernetes-based environmentsManage Docker containerization and deployment workflowsImprove and support CI/CD pipelines and release automationWork with GitOps-based deployment models (e.g., Argo CD or similar tools)Support day-to-day production releases, monitoring, and operational stabilityPartner with application owners to reduce manual effort and improve delivery reliabilityStrengthen security controls, access management, and deployment governanceWhat we’re looking for Strong experience as a full stack engineer (React + backend APIs)Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud deploymentsExperience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Argo CD, or similar)Ability to troubleshoot deployment, pipeline, and infrastructure issuesExperience with Docker and container-based deploymentsStrong collaboration mindset and comfort working in shared ownership teamsUnderstanding of production support and operational reliability practicesNice to have Experience with GitOps tooling such as Argo CD, Akuity, or KargoFamiliarity with deployment repositories and pre-rendered manifest workflowsExperience supporting internal enterprise or People/HR-facing applicationsExposure to agentic engineering or AI-assisted internal developer toolingExperience improving release automation and developer productivity systems
