Role Summary:
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain backend services, microservices, and REST APIs for the B2B data platform.Build scalable cloud-native services using AWS.Design and implement secure OAuth 2.0 / OIDC authentication and authorization solutions.Develop secure REST APIs and system-to-system integrations for external customers and partners.Define API contracts, service boundaries, integration patterns, and deployment architectures.Implement logging, monitoring, alerting, tracing, and health checks.Troubleshoot and resolve issues across APIs, microservices, cloud deployments, and external integrations.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering, Backend Engineering, or Platform Engineering.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.Strong hands-on experience developing backend systems, APIs, and microservices.Strong knowledge of distributed systems and API architecture.Hands-on experience with one or more backend languages:Java ,Python or TypeScript / Node.jsStrong hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native application development.Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture.Strong understanding of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, authentication, and authorization.Experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications.Good knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, software testing, and release management.Experience with production troubleshooting and operational support.Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is preferred.Experience with monitoring and observability tools and practices.
