We are seeking a Senior C#/.NET Engineer to build backend services that communicate with connected devices and equipment over network-based protocols such as TCP/IP and sockets.
The work involves processing live device data, maintaining reliable connections, and building scalable services in Linux environments.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain backend services using C# and .NETBuild software that communicates with devices, gateways, controllers, and external systemsDevelop and support TCP/IP, socket-based, and persistent network connectionsProcess real-time, streaming, or telemetry data from multiple sourcesUse messaging and event-driven technologies to distribute data between servicesDesign secure, scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systemsTroubleshoot complex issues involving networking, concurrency, performance, and distributed applicationsCollaborate with DevOps teams on cloud deployments, CI/CD, monitoring, and production supportOwn solutions from technical design through implementation and production operation
Qualifications
7+ years of professional C#/.NET development experienceStrong experience developing and troubleshooting .NET services in Linux environmentsExperience with TCP/IP, sockets, persistent connections, or network-based service developmentExperience processing real-time, streaming, telemetry, or device-generated dataFamiliarity with messaging or pub/sub technologies such as Kafka, MQTT, RabbitMQ, or similar platformsStrong understanding of asynchronous programming, concurrency, retries, and failure handlingExperience building secure services using authentication, authorization, encryption, certificates, or secure communicationsExperience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or another cloud platformStrong production-debugging and problem-solving skills
