Rust Engineer Central London (hybrid, 2–3 days per week in the office) £60,000-£80,000 depending on experience Permanent, full time Build clever software. We have partnered with an ambitious, well-funded SaaS technology startup entering an exciting phase of growth who are looking for Rust Engineers to help shape the technical direction of their platform, working on complex engineering challenges where performance, scalability and analytical thinking are critical. Working alongside product and leadership teams to build software that makes a real impact, you will need to enjoy solving difficult problems, thinking deeply about system design and strive to write high-quality Rust code. You will be Designing and building high-performance backend services using Rust.Helping to solve complex technical and analytical challenges.Improving the performance, scalability and resilience of the platform.Driving engineering excellence across architecture, tooling and development processes. You will have Commercial experience developing software in Rust.Excellent problem-solving skills and an analytical approach to engineering challenges.Ideally experience of designing scalable, distributed systems.Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams.
