Intellectica is recruiting a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer / Team Lead on behalf of its client, an innovative and rapidly growing technology company developing AI-powered environmental protection systems for the renewable energy sector. Based in Gerakas, Attiki, and reporting directly to the Software Engineering Manager, the ideal candidate will play a key role in shaping the architecture and technical direction of next-generation software platforms while leading the delivery of scalable, production-grade solutions. Beyond hands-on engineering, the ideal candidate will collaborate closely with C-level stakeholders on strategic technology initiatives, product evolution, and innovation roadmap discussions. The technical expertise will have a visible impact on both engineering decisions and the future direction of the business, offering a rare opportunity to influence products that address real-world environmental challenges. Key activities and responsibilities of this role include: Lead the design, development, deployment, and continuous evolution of scalable full-stack software solutions spanning edge devices, backend services, cloud infrastructure, and customer-facing applications. Architect and develop high-quality, production-grade software with a strong focus on Python, delivering reliable systems capable of processing and analyzing large-scale operational and environmental data. Drive technical architecture, solution design, and engineering best practices across the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and long-term platform evolution. Act as a technical leader and mentor, promoting engineering excellence through code reviews, architectural guidance, and knowledge sharing within the development team. Collaborate directly with the Software Engineering Manager and C-level executives, contributing to strategic technology decisions, product direction, technical roadmaps, and innovation initiatives that shape the company's future. Take ownership of complex technical initiatives from concept through deployment, balancing business objectives with sound engineering principles. Design and maintain modern backend services, APIs, distributed systems, and data-driven applications using scalable architectures and cloud-native practices. Contribute to the development of distributed data platforms supporting IoT and edge computing environments, enabling the collection, processing, visualization, and analysis of mission-critical environmental data. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize distributed production systems, ensuring high levels of reliability, performance, availability, and security. Work closely with engineering, AI, product, and business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into innovative technical solutions with measurable customer impact. Evaluate and introduce emerging technologies, frameworks, and engineering practices that enhance product capabilities and improve development efficiency.Any other task that may be required from time to time Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related fieldMinimum of 4 years of professional experience in software engineering, developing and supporting production-grade applicationsStrong proficiency in Python, with the ability to write clean, efficient, scalable, and maintainable codeSolid experience in JavaScript and modern frontend development, ideally with ReactExperience building and maintaining backend services, APIs, and data-driven applicationsHands-on experience working with data processing, analytics pipelines, or large-scale datasetsStrong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in production environmentsExposure to AI-powered applications, Generative AI tools, Go (Golang), cloud technologies, IoT, or edge computing environments will be considered a strong assetFluency in Greek and good command of English, both written and spoken Core competencies of a successful candidate: Ownership mindset with the initiative to drive projects through to completionExcellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to high-quality codeStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentClear communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to diverse audiencesCollaborative and team-oriented approach, fostering knowledge sharing and cross-functional cooperationCommitment to continuous improvement, professional growth, and team success Apply now!
