Mission of this role
As our Senior Frontend Developer in the Customer Lifecycle Team you get new customers to the value of Rentman as quickly and enjoyably as possible.
You own the journey from "I just created my account" to daily reliance, making sure that within a tight window (a customer's first big event might be two weeks out), users go from first login to confidently running their operations in the software.
Success means customers don't just use Rentman; they rely on it.
You focus on ease-of-use, fast implementation, and engagement, so that getting started feels effortless rather than something to dread.
Our front-end is an Angular-based SPA with over 3,500 components, built on a custom-made design system with our main data-views powered by AG-Grid.
Your mission is to help keep this codebase modern and best-in-class: we strive to stay on the cutting edge, typically migrating to the latest Angular versions within two weeks of release.
Maintaining that pace, while keeping the experience fast, intuitive, and effortless for our users, is central to what this role is about.
What you'll do
Design and build onboarding flows and guided implementation experiences that walk new customers through setup.
From configuring their warehouse to creating their first project.Build data migration tooling that lets customers import equipment, contacts, and projects reliably, with smart validation and clear, row-by-row error feedback.Make core interactions feel intuitive and modern.
For example, redesigning flows like adding equipment into step-by-step wizards with contextual help.Remove every unnecessary obstacle between a new customer and their first successful project.Roll out changes safely and validate impact (e.g.
phasing from trial accounts to existing users) so improvements are proven before becoming the default.Work closely with sales, support, and customer success to identify friction points and turn moments of confusion into moments of clarity.
