Network Infrastructure Engineer

🪜 Seniority Level: 0-3 years of experience 📅 Apply by: Sunday, 06 September 2026 Core Description Design, implement, operate, monitor, maintain and continuously improve the Bank's enterprise network infrastructure, across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of network technologies, including configuration, capacity planning, performance monitoring, upgrades, patching, hardware refresh, vendor support coordination, and timely resolution of network incidents and service disruptions. Implement and maintain secure network architectures and controls, including network segmentation, load balancers, VPNs, secure remote access solutions, NAC, and network infrastructure hardening. Drive network modernization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating emerging networking technologies and utilization of AI. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance and availability, performing root cause analysis, fault diagnosis, traffic analysis, capacity management, and implementing corrective actions to maintain service levels and operational resilience. What We’re Looking For 🎓 Academic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related subject.Master’s degree in the above subjects is an advantage. 💼 Experience (is an advantage) Enterprise network engineering, infrastructure engineering, or ICT operations within a complex, highly available environment. Networking technologies, including routing, switching, wireless, WAN, and SD-WAN. Microsoft Azure networking, hybrid connectivity, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, and network security controls. Network monitoring, troubleshooting, performance optimization, capacity planning, and root cause analysis. Supporting business-critical, customer-facing, and multi-site enterprise environments, including disaster recovery and resilience testing. 🖥️ Technologies Understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.). Knowledge of load balancers, proxy, and firewalls is an advantage. Understanding network monitoring and management tools (i.e. SolarWinds) for functions like performance monitoring and fault management. Knowledge of security protocols and technologies like NAC, RADIUS and TACACS Experience with cloud networking solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure) is an advantage.Knowledge of network automation tools and scripting languages (Ansible and Terraform) is an advantage. Familiarity with Cisco ACI technologies is an advantage. ➕ Certifications (or willingness to obtain) Cisco CCNA / CCNP / CCIE Microsoft Azure Network Engineer Associate Other vendor specific certifications (e.g. Fortinet NSE, Aruba ACMP/ACSP, Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE) 🌟Other Skills Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment is essential.Ability to manage time, multiple tasks, and work under pressure.Ability to take initiatives and make decisions.Eagerness to learn and develop new skills.Excellent verbal and written communication in both Greek & English.
