About The Role We are looking for an experienced and talented engineer to support the scaling of our platform that clinical trials already depend on. We build the vital infrastructure that orchestrates complex workflows across an ever-growing number of global sites and studies and the interfaces that make these workflows simple for our users. Whether it's enabling hospitals to upload CT scans, trial sponsors wanting to report on and visualise data relating to their studies, or internal administrators managing site and user data, we provide interfaces to make these workflows possible. Built on a modern tech stack featuring React frontend applications supported by Python backend services and REST APIs, all running on AWS EKS and deployed via Terraform, what we build matters every single day to advance critical clinical research and change lives. What You Will Do Design, build, document and test clean, intuitive interfaces for internal and external customers in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team of engineersLiaise with stakeholders to help identify and refine user and software requirementsTroubleshoot and optimise application performanceSupport build and deployment pipelines and CI/CD practicesParticipate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and retrospectives Requirements Proficiency building frontend web applications using TypeScript and ReactAbility to craft clean, testable, production-grade components and interfacesFamiliarity with frontend application frameworks & bundlers (Vite, Rollup, React Router, Next.js)Proficiency with Front end testing frameworks (Vitest, Playwright preferred)Experience building and testing interfaces to REST APIsExperience utilising CI/CD processes (we use GitLab)Experience wireframing interfaces and componentsStrong written and verbal communication skills Even better if you have Familiarity with Node.js backend frameworks such as Express Familiarity with containerisation principles (Docker)Proficiency in Python (Django Ninja)Experience with AWS cloud servicesExperience with IaC technologies such as Terraform / OpenTofu and HelmExperience working within a regulated industry (especially medtech) Benefits A comprehensive benefits package that includes an annual bonus plan, private medical insurance, life insurance, and a contributory pension scheme 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays and enhanced maternity leave A diverse work environment that brings together experts in many fields, including software engineering, DevOps, data science, machine learning, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, and clinical operations How To Apply Please upload a CV and covering letter by clicking 'Apply Now'.
